Dammam

Back from shopping and it was another successful shopping trip.

 

Got 2 new abayas/scarves (berkas), plenty of rice cakes and cracker snacks.  Here they measure in kilos which is equal to 2 lbs and when you say 1/2 kilo they just keep saying 1 kilo and I said whatever.  So Mike will have to snack on rice cakes and snack mix for a while.  Also got a couple of wallets today and in the pictures are the treasures from yesterday.

 

We had lunch at McDonalds in the Family Section and you sit in the individual rooms w/a drape if you want to close it or you can leave it open.

 

While shopping for the Abayas I made a friend and he even helped us by modeling..... He said when you come back you will get a FREE one. (Yeah Right) 

 

Mike had me scared to death coming over here saying not to speak to the men it isn't allowed but they are all very nice and friendly.  Hopefully I won't get stoned to death talking to these people while shopping.  HaHa

 

Well going to wait for the maintenance man to come and install the peep hole and deadbolt in the door.
