Well it has been a little difficult getting back into the swing of things over here. I had the CRUD but feeling much better now and then we had a security alert because the muslim teens celebrated the Muslim holiday in a very disturbing way. They targeted the Corniche area and were kind of rioting in the streets. Then on Monday of last week they had public lashings. Kind of crazy. I know we have crime and such at home but being out of my country I guess it is best to keep a low profile until things settle down.
So with that said... things have settled down and today will be the first day since September 23rd (when it all started) that the ladies are venturing off the compound on the bus. We will go out of the 4:00 pm bus as a group of course.
I started my week off today with walking, biking and then water aerobics. Maybe when I come home for Christmas I will be a little thinner. (hopefully) I have made chicken salad, chopped all my seasonings and cooked dinner. I am really on a roll today.
It is 12:50 pm here and I have had a full day to this point. Can't wait to venture out at 4:00. I am dressed and ready to go!!!!!
