Today I ventured out with a girl who has been here in Vietnam for a
few years. Got to look at the different grocery stores to shop here
in HCMC....need to make about 5 stops to get everything you need!!!!
Didn't take pictures but will do it on my next trip out.
Tomorrow we head out for our safari and looking forward to this
African experience with friends!
Will post pics and details when I return. Limited internet access and
baggage weight limits prevent us from taking laptops!

Message from Traci Hopkins: Today I went to the Ben Thanh Market, wasn't in a mood for haggling with the vendors but will definitely go back! Picked up a map in the Post Office and tried to visit the Notre Dame Cathedral but it had just closed... will re-open at 3:00 pm. Definitely must go back. Went to the grocery bought 4 bottles of Aquafina water, 4 canned Cokes and a sleeve of Ritz crackers all for 91,000 which equals $4.37 USD. Now that is a deal! Message from Traci Hopkins: Arrived in Vietnam early morning February 15th. Slow day... had lunch at the mall with Mike then to the health clinic for injections that couldn't be administered until we return from our upcoming safari in a few days. Then went for the worse mani/pedi I have ever experienced... haha The bellman at the Norfolk Mansion where we are residing at the present time referred me to Kim Salon.... well won't ask him for referrals again. I wanted to leave before they started by didn't know how to escape! I guess for $5.50 USD what more could one expect... LOL Today we will go and look at our villa. Apparently it is ready for us to move in. Very excited and cannot wait to see my new home! I am sure I will love it!!!! Mike did the home hunting prior to my arrival. Will keep you posted!
